Adrian Murphy is a plastic surgeon at the Canniesburn Dept. of Plastic Surgery at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary. 

Adrian Murphy has a specialist interest in adult and children’s upper limb surgery. He did his undergraduate training in University College Dublin, Ireland followed by basic surgical training in Galway. He spent two years doing research for his MD at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Following this he was appointed to the higher surgical training program in plastic surgery in London. Having completed his FRCS(plast) he undertook fellowship training in aesthetic surgery on Harley St before spending two years in Melbourne completing a fellowship in paediatric hand and microsurgery and a fellowship in orthopaedic hand surgery. Before returning to the UK to take up a consultant post in Glasgow he spent four months at the Kaplan Institute of hand surgery in Barcelona.
