Khaled Elsapagh Gynaecologist

Dr. Khaled Elsapagh graduated in 1981 in Cairo, Egypt. He obtained his Master’s degree in obstetrics and Gynaecology from Ain Shams University in 1987, earned membership in the Royal College of Gynaecologists (RCOG) in 1995, and became a Fellow of the RCOG in 2007. He has been practicing gynaecology in the UK since 1994.

Educational Experience

Dr. Elsapagh has broad experience in gynaecological consultations for a wide range of conditions, such as menstrual disorders, pelvic floor dysfunction, and uterine fibroids. He receives referrals from his consultant colleagues for patients requiring laparoscopic surgery and patients with uterovaginal or vaginal vault prolapse. In addition to general gynaecology operations, he operates on pelvic masses and difficult laparotomies due to previous surgeries or endometriosis.

Dr. Elsapagh’s Surgical Expertise

Dr. Elsapagh also has extensive experience in operative laparoscopic surgery. He regularly performs laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy, salpingo-oophorectomy, and salpingectomy surgery, as well as laparoscopic myomectomy and laparoscopic hysterectomy (having performed this procedure more than 150 times in the last five years).

Dr. Elsapagh’s Special Skills

He has also developed special skills in treating recurrent vaginal prolapse and vaginal vault prolapse by confidently performing Vaginal Sacrospinous Fixation operations in more than 250 cases in the last 20 years.

Dr. Elsapagh has extensive experience in colposcopy and has been a member of the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP) since 1996. He is a registered trainer in the BSCCP for more than 10 years.
