Mr. Shahidul Haq, Plastic Surgeon

Elanic is pleased to welcome Mr. Shahidul Haq to our surgical team. Mr. Haq is a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon. He graduated with honors in Medicine and a distinction in undergraduate preclinical studies from the University of Manchester in 1999. Additionally, Mr. Haq holds a first-class honors degree in neuroscience.

Extensive Surgical Training

Mr. Haq completed his basic surgical training in Leicester before earning a Ph.D. in wound healing from the Plastic Surgery & Burns Research Unit at the University of Bradford. He then completed his surgical training at the Welsh Centre for Plastic Surgery, obtaining the FRCS (Plast) in 2011.

Currently, Mr. Haq serves as the clinical lead for plastic hand and limb reconstruction surgery at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. He also manages a busy skin cancer clinic and regularly performs reconstructive cosmetic surgery in his NHS practice.
